Practice Area Detail
Civil & Criminal Litigation
Rigorous courtroom advocacy across the full spectrum of civil and criminal matters — from human rights enforcement and asset recovery to election petitions and criminal defense.
Our litigation practice is one of the most active and experienced in Abuja. We appear regularly before Magistrate Courts, State and Federal High Courts, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Nigeria, as well as specialised tribunals including the National Industrial Court and Election Petition Tribunals.
Our civil litigation work spans human rights enforcement, debt recovery (public and private assets), employment and labour disputes, landlord and tenancy matters, family and children law, inheritance and estate disputes, and election petitions from pre-election matters through post-election appeals.
On the criminal side, we provide robust defense representation — advising clients from the point of arrest, through investigation and charging, to trial and appeal. We are uncompromising advocates for due process and the rule of law.
The firm's litigation team has handled some of the most significant political and commercial litigations in Nigeria, including presidential, gubernatorial, senatorial, and House of Representatives election petitions in 2007, 2011, and 2014.
