We are firm advocates of resolving disputes outside the courtroom. Litigation is costly, time-consuming, and adversarial — it can damage business relationships and tie up critical resources for years. Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) offers a better path in most commercial and personal disputes.

Our ADR team is skilled in all principal modes of dispute resolution: arbitration (domestic and international), mediation, negotiation, conciliation, and expert determination. Our Managing Partner, Feyisayo Folorunso, is a certified associate mediator with the Nigeria Conflict and Management Group (NCMG), and the firm's Principal Partner is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

We help parties draft effective arbitration and mediation clauses in commercial contracts — because the best time to agree on a dispute resolution mechanism is before a dispute arises. When disputes do arise, we act as counsel in arbitral proceedings and as advocates in mediation sessions, guiding clients toward enforceable, workable outcomes.

For matters where litigation is unavoidable, we ensure that ADR processes are exhausted first where required by contract or statute, maximising the chances of settlement and minimising unnecessary court time.
